Japan’s First WTI-Linked ETF To Debut On Osaka Bourse Aug 3 (JAPAN)

The first Japanese exchanged traded fund linked to the West Texas Intermediate oil futures contract will list on the Osaka Securities Exchange on Aug. 3, the bourse and the fund’s manager said Wednesday. The new product to be called Simplex WTI ETF will be created and managed by the Tokyo-based fund, Simplex Asset Management Co. Its price will be linked to the yen-converted settlement price of the near-term WTI contract, the Osaka bourse said.
