Natural Gas ETF-UNG Runs Out Of Shares

naturalgas1The United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) will temporarily suspend issuing new shares pending regulatory approval to expand the number of shares it can issue to 1.2 billion, the company said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday. Read more…

SPDR Retail ETF draws bearish put fly (XRT)

retail-shoppingReuters reports that, “The SPDR S&P Retail exchange-traded fund appeared to have attracted a large 25,000 lot put butterfly combination, indicating near-term weakness for retailing share prices, said Andrew Wilkinson, market analyst at Interactive Brokers Group. Are Municipal Bond Defaults the Next Financial Crisis?

iouCalifornia’s credit rating has been downgraded. On Monday, Fitch Ratings cut the state’s long-term general obligation bond rating by two notches to BBB from A1. The drop was attributed to the state’s failure to come up with a timely budget and to the state’s severe fiscal crisis.
