Wednesday, April 21st ETF Movers: IFNA, BBH

In midday trading Wednesday, the iShares FTSE EPRA/NAREIT North America Index Fund ETF (NASDAQ: IFNA) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.4% on the day. And underperforming other ETFs today is the Biotech HOLDRS ETF (AMEX: BBH), down about 4.2% in Wednesday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Wednesday were shares of Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ: GILD), lower by about 9.8%, and shares of Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN), lower by about 3.2% on the day.

About the iShares FTSE EPRA/NAREIT North America Index Fund ETF (NASDAQ: IFNA)

The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, of the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT North America Index. The fund generally invests at least 90% of assets in securities of the Underlying index and depositary receipts representing securities of the Underlying index. It may invest the remainder of assets in securities not included in its Underlying index but which BGFA believes will help the fund track Underlying index, and in futures contracts, options on futures contracts, options and swaps as well as cash and cash equivalents, including shares of money market funds advised by BGFA. The fund is nondiversified.

About the Biotech HOLDRS ETF (AMEX: BBH)

The investment seeks to diversify your investment in the biotechnology industry through a single, exchange listed instrument representing your undivided beneficial ownership of the underlying securities. The trust holds securities traded on U.S. stock markets that, when initially selected, were issued by companies involved in the biotechnology industry. Except when a reconstitution event, distribution of securities by an underlying issuer or other event occurs, the group of companies will not change. There are currently 18 companies included in the Bio-tech HOLDRS.
