Thursday, April 22nd ETF Movers: ITB, BDH

In trading on Thursday, the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Home Construction Index Fund ETF (AMEX:ITB) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.8% on the day. And underperforming other ETFs today is the Broadband HOLDRS ETF (AMEX:BDH), down about 4.7% in Thursday afternoon trading.

About the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Home Construction Index Fund ETF (AMEX:ITB)

The investment seeks investment results that tracks Dow Jones U.S. Select Home Construction index. The fund generally invests at least 90% of assets in securities of the Underlying index and depositary receipts representing securities of the Underlying index. It may invest the remainder of assets in securities not included in the Underlying index but which BGFA believes will help the fund track Underlying index, and in futures contracts, options on futures contracts, options and swaps as well as cash and cash equivalents, including shares of money market funds advised by BGFA.

About the Broadband HOLDRS ETF (AMEX:BDH)

The investment seeks to diversify your investment in the broadband business through a single, exchange-listed instrument representing your undivided beneficial ownership of the underlying securities. The trust holds shares of common stock issued by specified companies that, when initially selected, were involved in the broadband industry. Except when a reconstitution event, distribution of securities by an underlying issuer or other event occurs, the group of companies will not change. There are currently 22 companies included in the Broadband HOLDRS.
