In trading on Friday, the iShares MSCI Spain Index Fund (EWP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 5.6% on the day. Also up for the day are the ETFS Physical Palladium Shares (PALL) up 3.6%, the Claymore/MAC Global Solar Energy Index ETF (TAN) up 3.5% and the S&P SmallCap Energy Portfolio ETF (XLES) up 2.6%. And underperforming other ETFs today is the iPath S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN (VXX), down about 2.2% in Friday afternoon trading.
