In midday trading Tuesday, the S&P SmallCap Utilities Portfolio ETF (XLUS) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 7.93% on the day. Also up on the day are the iShares MSCI ACWI ex US Energy (AXEN) up 6.95%, and the PowerShares S&P SmallCap Financials (XLFS) up 4.95%.

And underperforming other ETFs today is the Gold Miners ETF (GDX), off about 3.68% in Tuesday afternoon trading. Also down on the day are the SPDR S&P Metals & Mining ETF (XME) down 3.56%, and the SPDR S&P Homebuilders (XHB) down 3.48%.
