ETF Daily News: Friday, August 5th ETF Movers

In trading on Friday, the C-Tracks Citi Volatility Index TR ETN (NYSE:CVOL) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 6.69% on the day. Also up on the day are the iPath S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN (NYSE:VXX) up 6.37%, and the VelocityShares Long VIX Short Term ETN (NYSE:VIIX) up 6.25%.

And underperforming other ETFs today is the db-X MSCI EAFE Currency Hedged (NYSE:DBEF), down about 12.21% in Friday afternoon trading. Also down on the day are the Russell 2000 High Volatility ET (NYSE:SHVY) down 9.73%, and the db-X MSCI Emerging Markets Curr (NYSE:DBEM) down 9.71%.
