ETF Daily News: Monday, October 17th ETF Movers
In trading on Monday, the C-Tracks Citi Volatility Index TR ETN (NYSE:CVOL) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 12.81% on the day. Also up on the day are the iPath S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN (NYSE:VXX) up 10.38%, and the iShares MSCI Far East Financials Index (NASDAQ:FEFN) up 8.46%.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Market Vectors Solar Energy ETF (NYSE:KWT), down about 5.39% in Monday afternoon trading. Also down on the day are the Market Vectors Steel ETF (NYSE:SLX) down 5.29%, and the First Trust ISE Global Copper Index (NASDAQ:CU) down 5.23%.
