Franklin Templeton Files For Franklin Templeton Short Duration Government ETF (BEN)
Franklin Templeton (NYSE:BEN) has filed paperwork with the SEC for a “Franklin Templeton Short Duration Government ETF.” The Franklin Templeton Short Duration Government ETF, an active ETF, will seek a high level of current income as is consistent with prudent investing, while seeking preservation of shareholder capital. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment goal by investing in a diversified portfolio of short duration fixed income securities, primarily securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government, its agencies or instrumentalities.
