In trading on Wednesday the C-Tracks Citi Volatility Index TR ETN (NYSEArca:CVOL) is outperformingother ETFs, up about 6.59% on the day. Also up on the day is the iPath S&P 500 VIX ST Futures ETN (NYSEArca:VXX) up 5.82%.

And underperforming other ETFs today is the PowerShares DB Commodity Short ETN (NYSEArca:DDP), down about 6.70% in Wednesday afternoon trading. Also down on the day is the ProShares Short VIX Short-Term Fut ETF (NYSEArca:SVXY) down 5.94%.
