The biggest loser of the group was Avis Budget Group Inc.'s stockCAR, -4.46% which shed 3.9%, followed by the 2.7% drop in United Parcel Service Inc. UPS, -2.19% shares. Among the most-active airlines, shares of American Airlines Group Inc. AAL, -1.95% slid 2.1%, Delta Air Lines Inc. DAL, +0.75%slipped 0.2% and JetBlue Airways Corp. JBLU, -0.75% gave up 1.6%. The Dow transports's selloff comes while the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.40%was down 37 points, or 0.2%.
