Housing prices fall 19.1% in March

housingThe S&P/Case-Shiller home price index for March, which looks at 20 major cities, showed a decline of 19.1% from the same period last year. That was worse than the 18.6% fall in February, and bad news for the economy. The news chilled investors; stock index futures indicate that U.S. markets will open lower.
