Dan Dicker, senior contributor for TheStreet, breaks down what physically backed ETFs will do to the copper prices and what stocks he’s buying. Dan is asked if the rise in copper will rival the rise in gold since the 2004 launch of the SPDR Gold Shares ETF (NYSE:GLD). This 200% increase, he says, is something you “have to” expect in copper. His notes simple supply and demand.
Dan says to invest in copper, look for the dips and buy good stocks like Freeport McMoRan (NYSE:FCX), and Southern Copper (NYSE:SCCO).
