lawsuit-filedPomerantz is investigating claims on behalf of persons who purchased or otherwise acquired shares in several exchange-traded (“ETF”) funds offered by ProShares’ Trust. A list of the funds appears

 below.

The various funds are ETF funds that seek an investment return that is two times the inverse performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Financials Index, which is a benchmark index for large U.S. banks and insurance companies. The investigation centers on the allegation that the various fund registration statements, filed by ProShares Trust, failed to adequately disclose that shares in the funds should not be held more than a single trading day and were not an appropriate hedge against a decline in U.S. based financial stocks.
