Thursday, April 15 ETF Movers: XLVS, RTL

In midday trading Thursday, the S&P SmallCap Health Care ETF (NASDAQ:XLVS) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.4% on the day. And underperforming other ETFs today is the iShares Retail ETF (AMEX:RTL), off about 2.6% in Thursday afternoon trading. See the full video below:

About the S&P SmallCap Health Care ETF (NASDAQ:XLVS)

The fund seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the price and yield performance of the index called the S&P SmallCap 600 Health Care Index. The fund invests at least 80% of total assets in common stocks of healthcare companies and 25% or more of the value of total assets in securities of issuers in an industry or group of industries to the extent that the underlying index concentrates in an industry or group of industries. It invests at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the underlying index which is comprised of common stocks of U.S. healthcare companies.

About the iShares Retail ETF (AMEX:RTL)

The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the FTSE NAREIT Retail Capped index . The fund generally invests at least 90% of assets in securities of the Underlying index and depositary receipts representing securities of the Underlying index. It may invest the remainder of assets in securities not included in its Underlying index but which BGFA believes will help the fund track its Underlying index, and in futures contracts, options on futures contracts, options and swaps as well as cash and cash equivalents, including shares of money market funds advised by BGFA.
